More about me
As a student I earned recognition as one of South Africa's emerging designers when I was nominated for the Design Achievers Awards in 2000. My journey has since led me to collaborate and work with renowned agencies like TBWA, FCB, and Ogilvy where I've worked on big brands including Coke, Toyota, Vodafone, Investec, SABMiller, and FIFA. I liked the advantages of working for large companies, handling major brands, collaborating with top-tier talent, earning and attending awards, and achieving project success within closely-knit teams.
In 2006, I co-founded CopperCoast, a small design studio. I relished the unique challenges that came with it. Being more involved in all aspects of projects and taking on greater responsibility for others' growth were both rewarding new experiences. I served as the creative partner and successfully attracted clients like Investec, Plascon, and Deutsche Bank.
In 2013, I started Designvow alongside my talented wife, a designer with an impressive track record from her work with companies like Superunion (Design Bridge) and Cross Colours. She's earned numerous design awards, particularly for her contributions to the Nandos brand.
Today, she supports me as a creative partner, offering valuable insights into my concepts and designs.
