Rates
I offer flexible billing options, allowing you to choose between hourly rates or customised project scopes that align with your budget. My pricing for design is not set in stone; it varies based on the project's complexity and time requirements, which are shaped by the unique challenges presented in each brief. Typically, I invoice 50% upfront and 50% upon project completion.

About
I love the creative process and how, after more than 20 years as a designer, I still don't know where the answers will come from until I begin my creative journey. I believe we all have different processes. Mine typically starts with some quiet time for reflection. I like to give an idea the chance to emerge naturally before I dive in. Sometimes, it does, and when that happens, it excites me to the point where my heart races. Other times, I have to work diligently to reach a solution, but either way, when I find it, it reinforces my belief that being creative is the best job in the world.
In 2019, my wife and I embarked on a new adventure, relocating to Napier, New Zealand, with our two boys. I took on the role of lead designer at Band, where I absorbed valuable knowledge about design and business in a different country. Engaging in culturally relevant projects like Te Matau a Māui and Ngā Toi allowed me to explore New Zealand's Maori history, enriching my understanding and insights about the country.
